This species is a small species, although it is not particularly small as adult could reach 4 cm. However, the hatchling appear like
ghost, thin and almost transparent, almost impossible to find once it is dropped to the ground in the wild. This species appear to look
like
Leptomantella sp. but the ootheca of this species has banana like shape, or similar shape as Acanthops sp. or Decimiana
sp.
.This is a tropical species which can be found from Southern China where this particular species is from central of Fujian province
in China. The hatchlings are very thin and transparent, but they are able to take small
D. melanogaster without problem, but anything
small would be preferable due to the small size. The mantis grow significantly longer with each molt and feeding fruit fly is easier after
first molt.
